Bergljót (Begga)
My name is Bergljót Bergsdóttir, usually called Begga. At a very young age, around the age of 10, I decided that I was going to be a teacher. I stuck to this decision despite my family’s objections. I have never regretted my decision and worked as a teacher at various age levels for over 40 years. I enjoyed working with children and always had fun at work.
I have been preoccupied with spiritual matters and have read a lot, and self-cultivation was also high on the list since I was young. In 2003, I decided to eliminate my roots here in Iceland and moved myself and my things to Norway. There, I got a job at a kindergarten and worked with the youngest generation, who gave me a lot; seeing them develop and take their first steps into life was priceless. Then, I decided to attend a two-year university course and graduated as a Gestalt therapist in 2008. In that course, I did a lot of self-work and worked with people. During this time, many things were happening in Icelandic society, which caused me to extend my stay in Norway by eight years. After returning to Iceland in 2016, I started teaching in primary school again.
During the COVID years, when everything was more or less closed, I attended various online courses, such as Kyle Grey’s Angel and Energy Stone course and Claire Stone’s Angel School for two years, and subscribed to Rebecca Campbell’s websites.
Soon after returning home, I got to know Alma through meditation in nature, and then it was as if a new world opened up to me. I felt that something dormant in me that needed to be nurtured. There, I found how much of a natural being I am and how strong my connection with other natural beings is.
And then, the ball started rolling because, in 2021, I was invited to join my friends Alma and Hrabbý’s trial group for the course Your Personal Transformation. A lovely group gathered there to get to know themselves and others better. After that, I attended the courses Angelic Reiki 1 and 2 and later 3 and 4.
Since then, things have happened quickly, and here I am. I’ve become a part of the Starcodes team as the manager of their spiritual community. I feel like I’ve started working at my own Hogwarts school, and I’m looking forward to the next few years in that nurturing and rewarding environment.

I have been working on myself to some extent for 6-8 years, and one thing has led to another. Every time I was led to new paths in my spiritual journey, there was nothing else to do but shake up my ego, get out of my comfort zone and jump on the bandwagon.
I have found my spark, purpose, and myself by trusting in the universe, and I know that it will come to me with what is meant for me in this earthly life. I’ve learned to let go and be open to what comes to me.
I am passionate about being able to watch others walk their path towards their truth, and I have certainly seen that on my journey with Starcodes Academy, both as a participant in courses and as a guide in Your Personal Transformation.
Additionally, I run my own company Líf Óm, which offers life cycle therapy. I also provide Angel Reiki healing and sell grounding products. My approach today is to work holistically, focusing on helping people maintain and improve their health.
I am very grateful for my journey; I am learning daily and developing myself because learning is our lifeblood and follows us as long as we live. At the top of my mind is my gratitude to my mentors, fellow travellers and clients for the encouragement, trust and love I have felt during my journey.

Life’s projects are many and different for every person. I have my own story of projects that have led me to where I am today. I got one big project in my arms in October 2021 when my nervous system collapsed after years of neglect. My self-esteem was so low that I couldn’t do anything. Thoughts, feelings, and day-to-day activities were nowhere and all over the place.
I’m grateful for all my tasks, big and small because I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. Learning, development, health and beauty are great values that I will keep for as long as I can in life. I have created tools to strengthen my nervous system, respected myself by putting myself first with healthy boundaries, and loving myself unconditionally.
Stepping out of my comfort zone has helped me achieve quite a lot. I have invested in myself by taking courses and reading tons of books; those are the best investments for me. Strengthening my human vision on my journey to development in all energy bodies is very dear to me.
I completed a nine-month journey in March 2023 as a Personal Spiritual Coach, Angelic Reiki 1&2 in November 2023 at Starcodes School, Your Personal Transformation in May 2024 at Starcodes School, and became an Angelic Reiki Master Level 3&4 in August 2024. Next up for me is a continuation of YPT in October 2024 called Live Your Purpose, which is scheduled to end in February 2025. The transformation is amazing.
The Starcodes Academy requested my presence at work, and I am incredibly grateful for the trust shown in me and to be part of the team. This way, I can continue my spiritual journey with beings of light and love all around me. I am a primary school teacher in the academic base with an additional diploma in Work-related Guidance. Still, first and foremost, I am a loving light who wants to make a difference.

I grew up in the countryside and have worked many jobs throughout my life, one of which I stayed at for 18 years, but I was always looking for something that helps people feel better and grow spiritually. You can say that I wanted to give others what I needed, which was healing.
I have learned many things that help me do just that, such as cranial and scapular therapy, Reiki, hypnosis, past-life hypnosis, and Angelic Reiki. Last but not least, I went to Starcodes Academy for the Your Personal Transformation course and soon found that it did a lot for me and improved my work in healing and hypnosis.
I was, therefore, humbled, grateful and incredibly excited when I was offered a job at Starcodes Academy. It was never a question of anything but saying yes to it, but within the school, I see, e.g. about healing for students in the Your Personal Transformation and Live Your Purpose courses, as well as working in accounting. That’s why I’m here, and I’m looking forward to growing in a new workplace with great colleagues who all aim to make the world at least a little bit better.

For a long time, I was looking for ways to improve my mental health, but I began my spiritual journey when I was 25 years old. I felt that the answers I was looking for were not available in the health care system, which quickly led me to turn to spirituality when I began seeing a psychotherapist and attending regular healing sessions.
At the start of my spiritual journey, I visited a medium who recommended I try a tarot card reading course. I took her advice and attended a tarot card reading course at the Healing School and courses in dream interpreting, healing and mediumship, and Reiki healing.
Throughout the years, I have been involved in various meditation and development groups and learned, for example at the Heart Center. In the fall of 2022, I graduated from a three-year study in shamanism with Patricia WhiteBuffalo. A year later I completed the Your Personal Transformation course at Starcodes Academy, as well as Angelic Reiki 1&2, and later 3&4.
I have worked on myself a lot for the past thirteen years, and I know how important it is to work through the difficulties and setbacks one faces in life. Through the years, I have learned quite a bit about myself and spiritual matters, and I am determined to continue developing myself as long as I live.
